Church
Visiting the Church is free of charge for individual visitors and for liturgical purposes.
Groups accompanied by a tourist guide are required to pay a tourist guide service fee. The sum of this fee depends on the number of members.
If the group is between 1 and 10 members: 3000,- HUF in total / guide / group.
If the group is between 11 and 25 members: 5000,- HUF in total / guide /group.
If the group is between 26 and 50 members: 8000,- HUF in total / guide / group
Guiding tours are not permitted in the Church without paying the fee.
Guided groups who buy one of the below listed tickets of the Cathedral are exempted from paying the service fee.

Includes visiting the Cathedral trasury and the Panorama Hall.

Includes visiting the Crypt, the Belfry, the Lower Passage (lower lookout) around the dome's drum and the Panorama Hall.
*Family tickets
Family tickets are available for up to 1 or 2 adults + 2 or 3 children under 18 years of age.
The liturgical space of the Cathedral will be closed for tourists 30 minutes before Mass. During services the Church is open for worship only.
The Treasury, the Dome Lookout , the Panorama Hall and the Crypt are open to visitors during services as usual. On these occasions visitors are allowed to enter to the Treasury, Panorama Hall and Dome Lookout through King’s Gate on the western side of the Cathedral.
During special liturgical events not included in the annual mass order, similar restrictions may occur. We ask for the kind understanding of our visitors for the inconvenience.

Citizens of the European Economic Area are entitled to free entry to the Treasury provided they are
a) minors under 6 years of age
b) disabled in accordance with point 4. a) of the law No XXVI of 1998 about the the rights and the provision of equal opportunities for disabled persons, or attending a disabled person (not more than one person)
c) in possession of an entry permit for professional experts issued by the Minister
d) members of the professional organization of a public collection with a nationwide scope and at least 400 members
e) teachers working in public education
f) over 70 years of age
Admission is free for EEA citizens to the permanent exhibitions of museums on the last
Sunday of every month provided they are
a) under 26 years of age
b) attending a person under 18 years of age and are close relation of them (not more than two
people),
and on national holidays (15 March, 20 August, 23 October).
